Did you succeed in achieving your action steps since the last meeting? If yes, please state which action steps you were able to complete. If no, please explain the challenges that you experienced. (If first meeting, write ‘first meeting’ here.):
This was my 4th SNT meeting. Today, I hosted it at the park while our children played. I only completed 2 out of 4 of my actions steps that I set earlier this week, only because they were spaced so close together. My assignments from this week were already graded and I still have over a 97% in all of my courses.
Please state your goal using the SMART Method: Specific: Avoid generalities! Your goal should have specific details so you know what you are achieving. Measurable: Make sure you have solid criteria for establishing your progress toward your goal. Actionable: You can clearly define action steps towards your goal Rewarding: Your goal must be something that is meaningful and worthwhile. Time Specific: Having specific dates for beginning and finishing goals keeps you on track. Example: “My goal is to receive a Sports Internship by May 1st”:
My goal remains the same: I want to keep my 4.0 GPA. I would like to earn an A in both of my classes this semester, before I walk the line on August (4th) 2018
Please list the action steps you will take to achieve your goals stated above. These are action steps that will be completed by next meeting. Example: “1. Finish my resume. 2. Talk with my advisor. 3. Submit a sports internship application at two institutions.”:
1.) I am now at the halfway mark, so as long as I continue what I have been doing I should finish strong. Studying/Reviewing the quizzes and my class notes for the Final Exam ahead of time is goal number one. 2.) My core assessment papers in each class are extremely long, so I will start getting ahead and writing the introductions to the essays this week. 3.) Park has assigned me a new student advisor, so I will email her to touch base. 4.) I will continue going above and beyond the “required” number of discussion responses in both of my classes to ensure I get full points.
How have the NSLS speakers or SNT meetings helped you achieve your goals or changed your life?:
I am grateful to my support team of friends and family who continue to encourage me to not only pursue my degree, but follow my passions as this Society has taught me to do. I have also learned that the best leaders bring others up with them. What is the point of climbing the ladder if you’re alone when you get to the top?

Hi Christina, Thank you for your entry. Unfortunately, I cannot approve this submission as SNT meetings must be spaced out 1-2 weeks apart. If you have any questions about proper SNT meeting format or guidelines, please contact your chapter advisor directly. Best of luck to you, Olivia
