1. What were the main points of this speaker's presentation?

Three main points he mentioned were showing up which represents a calendar, committing represents the lock and embracing failure; a broken heart. In my opinion, overall it falls down to Determination. I strongly believe that if we stay committed to our goal and focus on reminding oneself each and every day the importance of our dream we can make it come true.

2. How will you apply this information in your life?

I focus on practicing this constantly, but one thing that truly stood out was when he stated we should schedule an appointment with ourselves each and every day and show up. This will make a difference in my current goals.

3. What did you find most interesting about this speaker?

“What is your strength? Lack of weakness.” Is what I found most interesting, his perception in life. I am interested in how he explains his point of view and what he implemented in his life that made a difference. I appreciate his positive perspective and how determined he was. He stated he got up 41,600 times, and still kept going.

4. If you could talk to the speaker, what would you say/ask?

How did you publish your Finish First book? What would you recommend to one who has a goal and is first starting off?

5. Would you recommend this speaker to other students? Why or why not?

Yes, I definitely would recommend this to many. Simply because it truly helps one to remember to stay on top of it and remind one self that all is possible as long as we commit to our dreams.
