Did you succeed in achieving your action steps since the last meeting? If yes, please state which action steps you were able to complete. If no, please explain the challenges that you experienced. (If first meeting, write ‘first meeting’ here.):
I met two of my goals by updating my resume and signing up for a summer course at HCC.
Please state your goal using the SMART Method: Specific: Avoid generalities! Your goal should have specific details so you know what you are achieving. Measurable: Make sure you have solid criteria for establishing your progress toward your goal. Actionable: You can clearly define action steps towards your goal Rewarding: Your goal must be something that is meaningful and worthwhile. Time Specific: Having specific dates for beginning and finishing goals keeps you on track. Example: “My goal is to receive a Sports Internship by May 1st”:
Specific: I will get a meaningful job in childcare/Summer Camp Counseling by the end of May 2024. Measurable: I will measure this progress by researching where to apply and by talking with my advisor before May 1st, 2024. Actionable: I can achieve this by getting help from my advisor on where to apply and which places fit my needs. Rewarding: By working in childcare over the summer, this will help me learn about interactions with children which will help me long term in my goal to become a peer support specialist. Time specific: I will apply to at least five places before the end of this semester (May 9th, 2024).
Please list the action steps you will take to achieve your goals stated above. These are action steps that will be completed by next meeting. Example: “1. Finish my resume. 2. Talk with my advisor. 3. Submit a sports internship application at two institutions.”:
1. I will set up a meeting and meet with my advisor 2. I will get a better understanding of which jobs are available and meet my requirements 3. I will apply to at least two places before next meeting
How have the NSLS speakers or SNT meetings helped you achieve your goals or changed your life?:
The speakers always lift me up when I am having a week with a heavy workload. My SNT meeting team is incredibly supportive, and I enjoy getting to know them better as the semester goes along. There is always something positive to take away from each meeting with them.

Question 1 answer does not support question 2 goal directly. Please list where and how many jobs you applied to - resubmit
