1. What were the main points of this speaker's presentation?

The main points of his presentation were pretty simple... Winning is a great thing because we feel accomplished, we feel like we have done something. The biggest thing though is that we should all strive for greatness, no matter what we do we have to show up, commit (get off the bench) and failing is okay... if we don’t fail we don’t learn anything and that’s more important than winning sometimes.

2. How will you apply this information in your life?

I will apply this information to my life my doing exactly the steps... Showing up and not living in fear of what if I can’t do this, I’ll commit myself to my aspirations, goals etc. and I will accept failure as a learning tool to get better.

3. What did you find most interesting about this speaker?

How successful he became after not allowing fear and naysayers tell him he’s a loser. He overcame and practiced and worked hard to win an Olympic Gold Medal .. All his failures only made him better and stronger to improve his skills.

4. If you could talk to the speaker, what would you say/ask?

I would say “I’m so glad you didn’t let failure hold you back, at times in my life I feel like I don’t try things a second time if I fail; failure doesn’t feel good... But looking at it from your perspective it pushes a person to overcome and learn what could have been done different”

5. Would you recommend this speaker to other students? Why or why not?

This speaker was amazing, I would definitely recommend others to listen and learn because I think a lot of students don’t realize that failure is a learning tool and can be a great opportunity to change the path and work harder towards a goal.
