1. What were the main points of this speaker's presentation?

get an internship in your field of study as early on as you can
learn to manage your money
success is defined not by money but by the person you have become
be your own best friend
stay focused

2. How will you apply this information in your life?

I am horrible at managing money, but hearing how she always made what she had work for her was inspiring and I would like to try getting better at that. Also to be my own best friend. That is going to be hard due to my own issies, but I am going to try doing that, because I have learned that I am the only person I can rely on.

3. What did you find most interesting about this speaker?

That she is so much more than the tv show personality. She is smart and accomplished. I never knew she was a dj or that she had a degree in communications. I find it interesting how she pulled herself through hard times and didnt rely on other people to do that for her.

4. If you could talk to the speaker, what would you say/ask?

I would let her know that the fact that she slept in her car and didnt run home or to friends for a place to crash is inspiring. Most people would never do what she did and I would want her to know that that is really an accomplishment

5. Would you recommend this speaker to other students? Why or why not?

Yes. she is funny, smart, accomplished and has been through alot of the same things students now are going through.
