1. What were the main points of this speaker's presentation?
- Goals can be inhibiting if you set it too far, and you can lose sight of opportunities if you are looking to far. "Setting down a train track where you cannot go off in any other direction"
- Trevor didn't think he was going to succeed, but he never let that stop him. "What if I do this, what awesome thing can happen"
- Nothing is promised to you, work twice as hard to keep your fire burning.
- His mother saw what we are taught as a physical construct, but not as a barrier, as an opportunity to break down that way of thinking.
- You cannot control how people see you, only how you see yourself and how you want others to see you.

- "Pain is real, suffering is a choice"
- "We didn't treat ourselves as victims, but we were a victim"
- "We fought because we knew it was right, and we knew we would win. It's as simple as that"
2. How will you apply this information in your life?
Trevor made the comment in reply to a video question what is your next big goal now that you are successful in comedy, "comedy never gets finished" and mentions that you have to always keep working and challenging yourself.
3. What did you find most interesting about this speaker?
He grew up in a world of hate where he never thought he would ever have the opportunities he has today, but he is still humble and give all of himself to others without hate.
4. If you could talk to the speaker, what would you say/ask?
I would start by thanking Trevor for sharing his story, his love and his comedy with us. My question would be "If you could change the past, is there anything you would change, or do you think everything you have been through are necessary to how you are today?"
5. Would you recommend this speaker to other students? Why or why not?
Yes, Trevor is an inspiring individual who has a lot to give to the world with his experiences and comedy. He has an amazing personality and is a truly amazing person.
