1. What were the main points of this speaker's presentation?

She talked about how work should be fun and interesting, and how Muse started from very humble beginnings, and has ended up being very successful. Also she carried the message from the last video, never quit and don't let failure/rejection define you and your journey.

2. How will you apply this information in your life?

I will look for opportunities everywhere. Also I will look at the new rules and how they will apply to me. Even though I am well established in my career, I will continue to evaluate it and its effect on me and my life. I will continue to look forward and do something every day to prepare me for tomorrow. Also I will work on my networking abilities with other people.

3. What did you find most interesting about this speaker?

I found her very energetic, but also understandable and relatable. She kept her talk very simple and gave the listener takeaways that they can work with in their lives. She cited one of my favorite concepts, managing up.

4. If you could talk to the speaker, what would you say/ask?

I would ask her to relate more to people that are already in a career, and how to evaluate that for success. This talk was very directed at a person that is starting out in the workplace and career place, and not everyone is in that situation. She states that the people in the room will change careers on an average, seven times. I would ask how do I change a career, while maintaining stability in my life and keeping food on the table.

5. Would you recommend this speaker to other students? Why or why not?

I would definitely recommend her talk. I really like how she addresses issues from a fresh perspective, and shows that it is not a destination, it is a journey. Good presentation and good talk.
